B Encouraged: Psalm 10 - Scripture Provides a Magnificent Prayer for Discouraging Days (1/10/2022)

Psalm 10 is a prayer to be prayed on those days when the sin of the world feels especially overwhelming - which is, exactly, why God hates sin - it always creates unjust outcomes that overwhelm and crush innocent folk. The author reminds God of God's own heart and those toward whom God's heart is deeply aligned. More than we know God is with those who suffer. Likewise, God has gone ahead and prepared a place of joy where every tear will be wiped dry. We delightedly expect this lovely end to our world that is unfair and seems to applaud the worst of behavior - even as that behavior destroys the well-being of others. Be encouraged - God sees the injustice in the land and addresses it.
