Das Loch in der Banane (The Hole in the Banana) - Klaus Weiland

This is a classic Tune of my Childhood in the 70s. "Das Loch in der Banane" or "The Hole in the Banana" by german Folk-Guitarist Klaus Weiland, was a little Piece that was used by NDR "Norddeutscher Rundfunk" (Northgerman Broadcast) in one of their Trailers between Advertisement Blocks. Loved it as a Child, whenever this Tune came up. So this is my own short Interpretation/Arrangement. It is not a 1:1 Cover. I was rather learning the Piece and made a short Version to exercise on the Basics of it.

For all who are wondering about that strange Title... Klaus Weiland tells us in an Interview that the Guys from NDR were looking for some Music, to be used in a little "Pause-Film", which was running in between Advertisement Blocks on TV. So he had that little (even unfinished) Piece, played it to the Guys and they loved it. Unfortunately the Piece had no Title but the NDR Folks needed one and urged Weiland to come up with a Name right on the Spot. So out of thin Air he came up with the Title. Ok, if you´re in such desperate need of a Title... I´ll just call it "Das Loch in der Banane". (which has no meaning at all ;))
