QUESTIONS ADDRESSED TO SHEIKH IMRAN HOSEIN:

1) Could you please clarify your position on certain ahadith from Sahih Bukhari being questionable as some say that this appears to oppose the Ummah’s apparent consensus on it being entirely authentic?

2) Why is Shia Muslim considered to be Muslim despite many allegedly opposing the fundamentals of the Sunni creed?

3) Why do you hold the opinion that Gog and Magog have already been released in this world despite there apparently being clear narrations that they will be released after the descent of Eesa (AS)?

4) Do you reject the view of the singular ummah during the End Times?
a. If yes, would this deny the universality of the Shari’ah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and perhaps even suppress it?
b. When Eesa (AS) returns will Christians not need to follow Prophet Muhammad (SAW)?

5) You hold the belief that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) performed the funeral prayer for an Orthodox Christian King Najashi (Negus), the ancient ruler of modern-day Ethiopia. Some say that this is incorrect as King Najashi had accepted Islam but kept his faith hidden. How can this confusion be clarified?

6) I’m sure that you are aware of how the current generation has become absolutely besotted with a blind love for the Ottoman Empire, especially with the help of Erdogan and Netflix, a platform favored by the Obamas.
a. Is it true that you hold the view that “Ottoman Islam” is not Islam? Can you please help us understand your view?
b. Was Sultan Muhammad Fatih acting on “Satanic design”?
c. Do you believe that Sayyiduna Muawiyyah (RA) had a sinister agenda in attempting to conquer Constantinople?
d. Do you believe that the Christians who fought in this battle in 1453 were martyrs?

7) I see nothing wrong with making mistakes and having predictions turn out to be inaccurate and not materialize in the future. But that is just my view. Do you have any final words on this to your audience of critical thinkers?
