PROTECT THE WOMEN | What seems impossible but might be within our grasp? Hijrah? Marriage? Or both!?

Did the Prophet SAW provide a solution to all the suffering and loneliness? Does everyone not seek some moments of peace?

What is our criteria for marriage today?
People? Society? Secure jobs and careers?
Or the words of Allah Ta'aala and the example of His Messenger (ﷺ)?

Marriage examples of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ):
- business woman
- divorcee
- widow
- 15 years older
- 40 years younger
- intelligent and educated
- strong-minded
- outside family and community
- teenager
- middle-aged
- emotionally and mentally grief stricken
- a criminal/prisoner
- ex-wife of an adopted son
- from an un-Islamic tradition
- daughter of an enemy
- a woman shunned by her family
- a woman of courage and determination
- reverts (including Jewish)
- a woman who offered herself

Notes:
- Take care of women
- Be noble
- Be the man

The men are PROTECTORS of the women by because Allah has bestowed some of them over others and because they spend from their wealth. So the righteous women are obedient, guarding in the unseen because Allah orders them to guard. And those whom you fear their ill-conduct – then advise them, and forsake them in the bed; and finally strike them. Then if they obey you then do not seek a way against them. Indeed, Allah is Most High, Most Great.
[Surah An-Nisa' (The Women) 4:34]

There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an EXCELLENT EXAMPLE for anyone whose HOPE is in Allah and THE LAST DAY and [who] remembers Allah much.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلاَ يُؤْذِي جَارَهُ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَاسْتَوْصُوا بِالنِّسَاءِ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّهُنَّ خُلِقْنَ مِنْ ضِلَعٍ وَإِنَّ أَعْوَجَ شَيْءٍ فِي الضِّلَعِ أَعْلَاهُ فَإِنْ ذَهَبْتَ تُقِيمُهُ كَسَرْتَهُ وَإِنْ تَرَكْتَهُ لَمْ يَزَلْ أَعْوَجَ فَاسْتَوْصُوا بِالنِّسَاءِ خَيْرًا

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever believes in Allah and THE LAST DAY should not hurt (trouble) his neighbour. And I advise you to TAKE CARE OF THE WOMEN, for they are created from a rib and the most crooked portion of the rib is its upper part; if you try to straighten it, it will break, and if you leave it, it will remain crooked, so I URGE you to TAKE CARE OF THE WOMEN."

This second session is really addressed to the men. It outlines the characteristic of manhood that makes a man want to instinctively take care of women and the Aayah of al-Qur'aan that instructs such behaviour in men. Then it explores the circumstances of the pious umm-ul Mu'mineen (mothers of the believers) and that Rasoolullaah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam married them, setting an example for all believing men thereafter.
