Ramaphosa delivers ANC gala dinner speech in the dark

An embarrassing power failure at the Ranch Resort in Polokwane on Friday night forced President Cyril Ramaphosa to cut his ANC gala dinner speech and abruptly leave the dark venue heavily shielded by his bodyguards.
The power failure happened around 9pm just while Ramaphosa was delivering his speech which focused on the governing party’s renewal efforts.
