David Icke divides opinion. Fellow conspiracist Alex Jones famously called him ‘a turd in the punch bowl’, whilst Skeptiko’s Alex Tsakiris has him as one of the most original thinkers of our age. Is he a political iconoclast liberating minds, or a cult leader imprisoning them? Is he a spiritual visionary awakening people to their true nature, or a New Age guru peddling woo? Should he have a global platform on which to proclaim his ideas, or be censored for the public good? And does he really believe the queen is a shape shifting reptile?
