Thousands of parrots terrorized the residents of the city

In the south of the Australian state of New South Wales, thousands of corella parrots flocked to the city with a bang and terrorized the locals. 

Corellas can cause people a lot of trouble. However, local residents have to put up with uninvited neighbors and tolerate their uncontrolled behavior, since this species is under state protection.
