Cuban Baseball Phenom Christian Sáez Leaves Island

Reports have 15 Year Old Cuban Baseball Phenom Christian Sáez leaving the island to pursue a professional baseball career.
The youngster first appeared as a member of Cuba’s U12 International team and stood over 6’0 feet tall and 175 lbs at that point.
The switch hitting first baseman reminds many of another slugger from Cienfuegos in José Abreu if only in the projections of his stature.
He will have to first establish residency in a third country and wait for his 16th birthday to be eligible to sign with an MLB organization.
This may make him eligible for 2023’s International Signing period.
