Your lips are like a strand of scarlet. Scarlet always refers to the connection to Jesus and Salvation. The Shulamite is referring to our connection to salvation. The story of Rahab in Joshua refers to the Scarlet cord. She has been in Lebanon all this time with the King of Tyre, Solomon's friend. The King of Tyre in Scripture is Lucifer in Ezekiel.
