Police Officer kills Woman -No charges filed

On January 6, 2015, Autumn Mae Steele was killed in front of her 3-year-old son. Police officer Jesse Hill had been called to Autumn's home for a domestic disturbance, but when he arrived he was startled by her dog. As he pulled out his gun to shoot the animal, Jesse slipped on some ice and hit Autumn instead. Watching the 34-year-old die in the snow, Jesse told another officer, "Shit... I'm fucking going to prison." His fears turned out to be baseless, however, as he was not charged with any crime, and he returned to active duty less than three months later.
