Original YouTube Description: This is a follow-up my previous video about Lyme Disease. I'll continue the story where we left off, when I went into remission around the sixth grade. I thought I was cured, and shoved the traumatic experience deep into the recesses of my mind. But some symptoms never went away, and I lived my life in denial that I still had symptoms: debilitating insomnia, night sweats, and the classic Babesiosis feet on fire, among others. In my late twenties, other symptoms started showing up and returning: classic Lyme gallbladder issues (culminating in surgery to remove the organ), hormone imbalances, joint pain, and my insomnia became much, much worse. In my early thirties, symptoms came back with a vengeance, to the point that I was nearly bed-ridden again. I was struggling to continue to working as a photographer, living in fear that I wouldn't be able to physically do my job, but not wanting to tell anyone what I was going through. Finally in early 2018, Evan suggested I test for Lyme, and sure enough the Western Blot came back positive. I've had Lyme Disease since 1991.

I resumed treatment in hopes of finally eradicating the bacteria. My LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) has prescribed an antibiotic treatment, which consists of three different long-term antibiotics, seeming to follow Dr. Horowitz's protocol, which I had previously read about in his book 'Why Can't I Get Better?'. He also treated the co-infections Bartonella and Babesiosis with an anti-malarial medicine and a parasite cleanse. I'm also following Dr. Buhner's Herbal Protocol, as outlined in his book 'Healing Lym'e. In addition to all this, I recently started Disulfram treatment, which is actually a drug for treating alcoholism, but was discovered in a laboratory setting to eliminate Borrelia Burgdorferi bacteria 100%. Of course, Disulfram has not yet been recognized by the CDC for this use, but is curing Lyme patients like wildfire.

Remember, if a doctor followed the CDC guidelines for Lyme Disease, I would be given two weeks of one antibiotic, and told that I have been cured. If my symptoms persisted, I would be told that I have Post-Treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome, which is a magical illness with no known cause and no known treatment. How convenient!
