Session 11: Resolving Marital Conflict P1 | Song 5:2-6:3

In the last session God allowed us to glean from His Word how married couples are to approach and enjoy each other sexually. God could have ended the story here with the fairy tale ending, “And they lived happily ever after”. But He doesn’t end the story this way. God wants us to understand that every marriage includes two sinners that must deal daily with each other’s selfishness. So, we pick up the story in chapter five where Solomon and the Shulamite have been married for a while and face something that every marriage experience – marital conflict. In this session and the next we will look at a biblical model for resolving marital conflict.
