The Incongruence of a Dalai Lama

Tibetan Dalai Lama's are often regarded as holy individuals with insight on enlightenment. This one, however, runs reversals citing his 'inner mud' which translates to internal muck in the soul. He speaks of 'conning Eden' and says he is a soul of 'lead'. What seems clear? This Dalai Lama will not be transcending into light.
