Chitwan National Park ( चितवन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज ) is one of the oldest national parks in Nepal and was established in 1973. It is one of the best Parks in Nepal, with lost of various species of birds, plants, and animals including wildlife, floras, and faunas. It is home to the one horned Rhino the Bengal tiger, gharial, and many other endangered animals. Over 544 different species of birds live in CNP, it is an excellent place for Birdwatchers. CNP was declared a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1984.
