The origin of Hinamatsuri (Girl's Day in Japan)

Hinamatsuri is called Doll's day or Girls day is a religious holiday in Japan, celebrated on 3 March of each year. Traditionally, the Hina dolls are believed to protect the young girls by carrying their illnesses and misfortunes for them.
