Another year of movies has come and gone. This has been a very strange year for films, all around. Streaming services had huge movie releases on day 1. Studios struggled with wether or not to release a film in theaters. The entire industry was derailed and forced to adapt. I can't say it was a great year for quality movies either. Yes, there were definitely some gems but overall, I was very let down by some of the bigger releases. That said, todays video is all about the films that got it right. Movies that managed to capture the magic of cinema and wow audiences. The MCU still impressed me with most of their major lineup such as Black Widow, Shang-Chi and Spider-Man: No Way Home. James Bond managed to put out one great final entry for Daniel Craig. The John Wick team stuck to the playbook with Nobody. Disney delivered a great family flick with Luca. Sony and Netflix snuck out The Mitchells vs the Machines, which was a nice surprise. Even A Quiet Place Part II eventually made its way to theaters, better late than never. My favorite of the bunch was easily the anti-hero team rebrand of The Suicide Squad. I break down all the reasons why I loved these films in my Top 10 Best Movies of 2021!
