Aftermath is the newest Netflix "trending" movie that makes me question everything in my life. For starters, this generic movie title has been slapped on 1/2 a dozen films now and really means nothing in the context of this one. Secondly, the few good actors in this are given awful dialogue and are put in incredibly nonsensical situations. I think this is supposed to be in the scary/thriller genre but there are maybe 10 minutes of time allotted to "scary" instances. The plot is mainly about marriage problems with the horror stuff taking a backseat. This is a movie I would avoid at all costs and I have a hard time believing it was actually trending for a night or two.
