Trump Rally on January 6th, 2021 | Anniversary Report | Genuine Footage

On January 6th, 2021 Donald Trump held a rally on the Ellipse in front of the White House. Hundreds of thousands of American citizens showed up and peacefully and politely showed their support amid a dearth of law enforcement presence. Straight, gay, white, black, Hispanic, Asian, Pacific-Islanders, men and women showed up and behaved well within the confines of the law.
After a few dozen criminal trespassers broke into a poorly defended Capitol Building and a few hundred rubes entered after what they foolishly thought was an invitation after Capitol Police opened doors, the media went into overdrive. Along with demagogues in both political parties the media immediately spread a narrative of an insurrection. Regardless the damage this incorrect and hyperbolic narrative did to America’s reputation, the actors responsible could have cared less, so long as it successfully divided the country and denigrated 75 million voters who committed the ultimate crime: they voted for Donald Trump.
