Nehemia Gordon released a video this morning called, "The Pagan Origins of Hanukkah" (at the time of this video he had not put the "?" in his title, people! So stop accusing us of not being able to read what his "?" means! Had it been "The Pagan Origins of Hanukkah?" we would not have done a response video. Without the "?" it was a completely mis-leading title, as the video does NOT have much of anything to do with the origins of Chanukah. His video is about where the origins of the "Miracle of the Oil" came from. A better title for his video would be: "Is it possible the rabbi's were influenced by Pagan culture when they introduced the 'Miracle of Oil' into Chanukah?"

You can be assured that the roots of Chanukah are NOT pagan! We love Nehemia and His work and we also love the TRUE Chanukah. Both come under attack about this time of year, so we are responding to his video in order to put your mind at ease. We don't normally do this kind of debunking video as it would take us away from our Kingdom work, but that said we felt this could be a real problem for many who follow our teachings on Chanukah. Therefore, Isaac and I made a quick response to his video this morning as soon as it was released.

Christmas is for the pagans. Hanukkah is for the righteous.
