Thanksgiving is a MAN-MADE “High Shabbat”! Just say NO!

@Teshuvah Ministries Thanksgiving is a man-made High Shabbat. It has all the components of being a “set apart day.” But it was not set apart by YHVH! Just look at it...Most people get the day off from work. Businesses shut down for the day. Most people stay home and it’s considered a rest day. Everyone gathers for a celebratory meal. So there is an assembly that happens. It happens during the week. It’s once a year—so it’s an annual festival. It didn’t start somewhere good. You can’t clean it like you can Hanukkah or Purim. Plus it’s the kick off to Christmas. Stop trying to use the excuse that it’s just about “being thankful” or that it’s the only day you get to gather with family who don’t walk this Narrow Path with you! You are supposed to be set apart. You’re not supposed to show up to their Feasts. And trust me it L
NEVER started in Sukkot. It’s not an innocent thing to show up for a “set apart by man” day. Period. If you want to give thanks to YHVH — do it at the time of year that HE told us too. In the fall at Sukkot or at His other Feast days! Be set apart, Israel! Don’t walk in rhythm with your neighbors. Walk in rhythm with YHVH! 👍
