So far, talk about the indefinite detention of Americans and "habeas corpus" has been silent on Capitol Hill. Since the Trump administration took office talk of addressing what could potentially become a large Constitutional problem for the next election cycle is the perpetuation of a bad BIll during the Obama tenure.

The NDAA provides for the funding of the military, however, while most of us would say that is a good thing the bill also has language that includes what appears to subvert the authority of the U.S.
