The Toronto Taunting
On the road, I decided to leave Detroit and go across into Canada traveling up to Toronto. Once there I would preach in the city and then make my way down to Buffalo. In line at the border crossing going into Windsor, Ontario I was pulled aside and asked many questions and they ended up searching my van. The “Mr Magoo” that I was, it never occurred to me this would happen. Although having my passport and other documents in order I didn’t realize they do not let ex felons (explain later) into their country. This would not be a simple, “sorry turn around”, but through their Toronto taunting I underwent some slight embarrassment and profuse sweating before making it back safely to Detroit.
