Question to leads regarding super beginner follows

how often will you repeat a move that you know that follow isn't getting?
A follower was frustrated that leads would not continuously repeat moves that she's screwing up and not getting so that she can learn it.

A good lead won't continuously force a move onto a follower who can't follow it.

A good lead, will however, have many more options at his disposal to make the dance enjoyable to the point where the follower won't even recognize when he's aborted some of the moves she can't follow.
a good lead can adapt to the skill level of their follow!
IMO, that's how a good lead approaches this situation.

if a lead does not continue with a move, maybe its because he doesn't want the follower to feel bad.
Social dancing is not training. So it can be rude to keep repeating something that is not working.
I avoid repeating a move that didn't work out and is simply because I want to enjoy the dance and I want my dance partner to enjoy the dance, there's no point on trying to force something that is not working out (applies to dance and to life as well).

I also try no not point out when a move goes wrong and I do my best to smooth out mistakes with something else, I am not keeping score at who is making the mistakes during the dance, I just want both of us to have a smooth experience and fun
if the mistake was mine I might try it again if I feel like it, if the mistake was minor or it didn't fail that bad I might also try again. As a rule, I try stuff at most twice - once because it happens to pop into my head while dancing and then once more as clear as I can if it does not work the first time. If it does not work the second time as well - too bad, time to move on

So if a follow wants ppl to repeat or to explain she has to be vocal and ask for it because no one likes unsolicited corrections or advice on the dance floor, she needs to say that she wants advice or corrections or repetitions.

Side note: if a follow is complaining that she is not getting any dances. It could be her attitude.
she can't be hiding in a corner, she needs to position herself in such way that someone can come to her and ask her, also she has to show she is open for a dance, smiling and enjoying the music. If she is in a corner looking at her phone or behind a bunch of ppl that is not gonna work. If you ever want to dance with any of your dance idols you'll have to go and ask yourself so she better learns how to ask for a dance now.
