What will you do to protect public liberty? What will you allow, not because you approve, but because you recognize the right of others to live differently than you?

What do you do when you encounter something you disagree with? How do you react when you encounter something repulsive?

The question in the case Carpenter v. James seems to be quite simple. Can the State of New York force Emilee Carpenter to do business in a way that violates her conscience?
