Isaiah Meanderings (27): 31&32 - God's Sustaining Vision for His People, Fights Their Own Injustice

Isaiah 31 and 32 has Isaiah telling the people that God is fiercely fighting for them as a people; even as they run off to lesser, frailer Egypt for salvation. It will be Yahweh, Himself, who will bring them to 'That Day', when the Messiah will reign, and the land and its people will flourish in righteousness. Unrighteous and Unjust behavior will be brought to an end, the selfishness and selfish ends of gain, will be no more. This is where God is going in this contending with a stubborn, self-interested, hard-hearted people.
