How To Launch A Cup with an Oxy-Acetylene Explosion: Well, we're closing out another year at the shop with a bang! This is a fun trick you can do with your oxy-acetylene torch and a paper cup. It’s one of those things you just assume everybody knows about but actually they don’t. So, for those that have never seen it, allow me to demonstrate how to launch a paper cup using an oxy-acetylene explosion from my torch gases. Definitely do not try this yourself and certainly do not use anything but a paper cup. An exploding cup made of material other than paper could be extremely hazardous.
