Senor Rio Anejo Toro Cigar Review

This 6x52 box pressed stick features a soft even pack, silky velvet feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and rich pungent cocoa aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plentiful thick full bodied smoke with rich flavors of a creamy textured musty aged tobacco, pepper and spice that carries through the long finish to the next draw. The first third comes down to a medium-full and at the tail end adds a slightly sweet cocoa to the complex mix, everything else staying the same. The burn requires some attention and touchup but otherwise is fine. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes holding the same flavors overall with just the pepper dying down through the finish. Ending at 55 minutes the last third held the same notes to the last inch where it got warm and a peppermint took over.
