Missouri Gov Mike Parson Wants Reporter Prosecuted for Looking at a State’s Website’s HTML Source

Governor Mike Parson of Missouri wants a local reporter prosecuted for his viewing the HTML source code of the state’s teacher accreditation website and finding that it was exposing their social security numbers in it. He had informed the state government of this security issue and waited until it had been fixed before reporting on it too. Which his doing so was an embarrassment by the governor. So, in response he’s trying to get prosecutors to enact his revenge for it by prosecuting the reporter for his troubles.
