In the Bush #44 Plow Point Shelter by the Creek

I needed to harvest some building materials for a bush camp I'm working on in the cedars, so why not turn my trip to "The Lumberyard" into an overnight-er by the creek? In this episode, I stay at a new campsite for the first time and try the plow point style shelter for the first time.

As a former Boy Scout, and Eagle Scout for life, I decided I needed to brush up on my self-reliance and outdoor skills. So in January of 2021 I began hiking out into my woods, building fires, shelters, cooking, and doing other bush activities. I decided for my own benefit I would film and catalog these trips, and track my progress along the way. What you are witnessing is is real, unscripted footage from these trips. Numbered from the very first time in the bush since my days of scouting. You are watching me learn in real time.

In this video series you will see me learning and enjoying nature in various forms including bushcrafting, campfire cooking, fishing, hunting and foraging. In many videos you will be invited along for the journey as I camp in every possible environment from under the stars, to bushcraft shelters, to tent camping and even some vanping in my van and luxury camping in campers.
