this is the town where i spent half my life

recently they took down some confederate stuff
liberal lunatics hate being reminded that history happened
been around longer than the sixties
that used to be ben & jerrys where i got fired (along w/ the entire staff)
maybe we were responsible for it shutting down, yay!
franklin theatre has been around forever
hated my frothy monkey job, snobby useless pieces a shit
starbucks installed almost immediately after we arrived to franklin
we moved out here in 1998

across the street is an AA meeting that used to be my homegroup
it was a crazy life, what am i talkin about
that miller high life hat was stolen at that gas station
also stole a 12 pack of pbr, good ole days
the "projects" of the franklin area, my friend todd used to live across the st from a crack house
smoked a lotta weed/drank a lotta booze in this graveyard
so much personal history in a town that i hate so much
high school renovated immediately after i left
used to work @ this goodwill (got fired for being late, just imagine it)
got escorted outta that liquor store for lifting booze
on a roll here so fuck it
statute of limitations clearly up (but not purgatory)
the alarm went off and i took off...
i ran to the liquor store where i got picked up by my dd
