Good morning, I’m still reporting on the coup.

President Trump was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2017. In his first week in office, he signed 6 executive orders:
interim procedures in anticipation of repealing the Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")
withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations,
reinstatement of the Mexico City policy,
authorizing the Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipeline construction projects,
reinforcing border security, and
beginning the planning and design process to construct a wall along the U.S. border with Mexico.[241]

Democrats won big victories in the 2018 Congressional elections, so the Democrats held a sizeable majority in the House, but Republicans had a narrow majority in the Senate.

On Dec. 18, 2019, the new Democrat majority in the House of Representatives easily voted to impeach President Trump. The press was in an impeachment furor over the Christmas holiday and Trump’s trial in the Senate was slated to begin on Jan. 16, 2020.

The first media reports of COVID were just starting to trickle out of China, though evidence now is that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) knew about the outbreak as early as September 2019 but were able to suppress news of it. The first case in the U.S. was announced on Jan. 20, 2020, and then all hell begin to break loose.

Now, let’s go back in time to see just how the nation reacted as the ongoing coup was about to take on a much deeper, more deadly dimension by design – the so-called COVID pandemic.

I’m still reporting from the citadel of world freedom. Good day!
