Historically and in ptactice, the idea of social justice is that all people should have equal access to wealth, health, well-being, justice, privileges, and opportunity regardless of their legal, political, economic, or other circumstances. There are four interrelated principles of social justice; equity, access, participation and human rights.
Access (greater equality of access to goods and services) Equity (overcoming unfairness caused by unequal access to economic resources and power) Rights (equal effective legal, industrial and political rights) Participation (expanded opportunities for real participation in the decisions which govern their lives).
