MOVING GOAL POSTS, VARIANTS, VACCINES AND MORE‼️

Hoping someone can help me out here. I’m not a member of the “Elite Club” no college degree, High School only and a Commercial Restaurant Repair Technician by Trade. But last 50 Plus years I was under the impression that a vaccine PREVENTED you from CONTRACTING and SPREADING a DISEASE. 🤔
Did that definition along with the other 50 + definitions get changed too? Let me know in the comments. I must have missed that one.
