As another 9/11 anniversary comes and goes, many questions surrounding the events remain unanswered. MintPress brings you a freshly updated article, originally published in May, 2019 that seeks answers to some of those questions.

The men — Sivan Kurzberg, Paul Kurzberg, Oded Ellner, Yaron Shimuel and Omar Marmari — were subsequently apprehended by law enforcement and claimed to be Israeli tourists on a “working holiday” in the United States where they were employed by a moving company, Urban Moving Systems. Upon his arrest, Sivan Kurzberg told the arresting officer, “We are Israeli; we are not your problem. Your problems are our problems, The Palestinians are the problem.”

For years, the official story has been that these individuals, while they had engaged in “immature” behavior by celebrating and being “visibly happy” in their documenting of the attacks, had no prior knowledge of the attack. However, newly released FBI copies of the photos taken by the five Israelis strongly suggest that these individuals had prior knowledge of the attacks on the World Trade Center. The copies of the photos were obtained via a FOIA request made by a private citizen.

According to a former high-ranking American intelligence official who spoke to the Jewish Daily Forward in 2002, the FBI concluded in its investigation that the five Israelis arrested “were conducting a Mossad surveillance mission and that their employer, Urban Moving Systems of Weehawken, NJ, served as a front.” At least two of the men arrested were determined to have direct links to the Mossad after their names appeared in a CIA-FBI database of foreign intelligence operatives. According to one of their lawyers, one of the men, Paul Kurzberg, had previously worked for the Mossad in another country prior to arriving in the United States. Another of those arrested, Oded Ellner, subsequently stated on Israeli TV that the five Israelis had been in New York at the time “to document the event,” meaning the attack on the World Trade Center.

Based on the impressions of the French website Panamza and subsequently MintPress, three of these photos — despite the heavy redaction and poor quality — appear damning. Since 2001, even though the photos were never released until now, it had been known that one of the Israelis arrested — Sivan Kurzberg — was seen in a photo “holding a lighted lighter in the foreground, with the smoldering wreckage [of the twin towers] in the background,” according to Steven Noah Gordon, then-lawyer for the five Israelis, as cited in a New York Times report from November 2001.

The picture of Kurzberg with the lit lighter appears to be photo #5 in the new FOIA release. Yet, the picture released includes a visible date of September 10, 2001, the day before the attacks, as do two other photos — images #7 and #8 in the collection — whereas all other photos with dates show only the month and the year (9 ‘01). The FOIA release did not provide any information as to the apparent discrepancy in dates.
While this could be explained away as the camera in question being programmed with a slightly inaccurate date, that doesn’t seem to be the case for two reasons. First, only three out of the 14 pictures appear to carry that date and, second, previously declassified FBI reports report an eyewitness adamantly stating that Sivan Kurzberg had visited the Doric Apartments on September 10, 2001 at around 3 p.m.

Bird flu isn’t alone. The world’s first vaccine for malaria, which was recently approved by European Medicines Agency, is
also leaky. Vaccines for HPV and whooping cough can leak too; however it is unknown if this scenario creates more dangerous
viruses for each of these diseases.

The Cutter incident

On April 12, 1955 the government announced the first vaccine to protect kids against polio. Within days, labs had made
thousands of lots of the vaccine. Batches made by one company, Cutter Labs, accidentally contained live polio virus and it caused an outbreak.

More than 200,000 children got the polio vaccine, but within days the government had to abandon the program.

"Forty thousand kids got polio. Some had low levels, a couple hundred were left with paralysis, and about 10 died,"
said Dr. Howard Markel, a pediatrician, distinguished professor, and director of the Center for the History of Medicine
at the University of Michigan. The government suspended the vaccination program until it could determine what went wrong.

However, increased oversight failed to discover another problem with the polio vaccine.

From 1955 to 1963, between 10% and 30% of polio vaccines were contaminated with simian virus 40 (SV40).

The epidemic that never was

In 1976, scientists predicted a pandemic of a new strain of influenza called swine flu. More than 40 years later, some historians
call it "flu epidemic that never was."

"President Ford was basically told by his advisers, that look, we have a pandemic flu coming called swine flu that may be as bad as
Spanish flu," said Michael Kinch, a professor of radiation oncology in the school of medicine at Washington University in St. Louis.
His latest book, "Between Hope and Fear," explores the history of vaccines.

"Ford was being cajoled to put forward a vaccine that was hastily put together. When you have a brand new strain situation like
that, they had to do it on the fly," Kinch said.

Ford made the decision to make the immunization compulsory.

The government launched the program in about seven months and 40 million people got vaccinated against swine flu, according
to the CDC. That vaccination campaign was later linked to cases of a neurological disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome, which
can develop after an infection or, rarely, after vaccination with a live vaccine.

"Unfortunately, due to that vaccine, and the fact that it was done so hastily, there were a few hundred cases of Guillain-Barre,
although it's not definitive that they were linked," Kinch said.

Israeli security expert behind worldwide election manipulation efforts - report

team of Israeli contractors is responsible for having manipulated more than 30 elections around the world through hacking, sabotage and
automated misinformation, The Guardian has revealed after an in-depth investigation.

In an article published early Wednesday morning, The Guardian reported that a team of Israeli operatives has been working under Israeli
security expert Tal Hanan, a 50-year-old former special forces operative and CEO of Demomam International, to manipulate election outcomes in
dozens of countries over the last two decades.

Working under the codename "Team Jorge," the operatives offer their services to those looking to meddle in elections worldwide, as well as to
corporate clients, the investigation revealed.

One of the key components in the team's efforts to sway election results is social media, more specifically, Twitter.

A non-human bot by the name of @Canaelan has been found to have links to numerous fake social media profiles, all controlled by
disinformation-spreading software owned by Team Jorge and based out of Israel.

According to the investigation, the software known as Advanced Impact Media Solutions (AIMS) controls over 30,000 fake social media
profiles all of which can be used to spread disinformation or propaganda far and wide at extraordinary speed.

The expose published by The Guardian on Wednesday is the result of an undercover investigation carried out by a consortium of journalists
from 30 different media outlets, including Le Monde, Der Spiegel and El País.

During the investigation, Hanan, or "Jorge," spoke with undercover reporters from Haaretz, The Marker and Radio France, telling them
that access to the AIMS software had been sold to "unnamed intelligence agencies, political parties and corporate clients," The Guardian reported.

Hanan also told the reporters that his services had been made available to intelligence agencies worldwide, in addition to political
campaigns and private companies. The services have been used across Africa, South and Central America, the US and Europe, he added.

What is AIMS?

The sophisticated AIMS software package offered by Hanan and his team of Israeli operatives controls thousands of fake social
media profiles on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram, Gmail, Instagram and YouTube. According to The Guardian, some of these fake avatars even own Amazon accounts, credit cards, and bitcoin wallets.

Each individual avatar is given its own unique digital backstory and is able to mimic human behavior through the use of
artificial intelligence.

But in order for bots to spread disinformation and fake news, there needs to be a news source for them to take it from.

That's why, in addition to AIMS, Team Jorge run an automated "blogger machine" system that creates websites from which the fake
social media accounts can then disperse information.

"After you’ve created credibility, what do you do? Then you can manipulate," he told the team of undercover journalists.
