Model of U.S. Embassy burnt in Iraq

Iraqi supporters of the Iran-backed Shi'ite paramilitary group Hashd al-Shaabi built and burned a fake structure of the U.S. embassy in Baghdad on Friday (December 31), setting it ablaze as they remembered top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia leader, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who both died in 2020 after being struck by a U.S. drone.
