Why does the year start on January 1st? | Let me Explain!|⚛

This is the last day of 2021. Let's hope2022 is better. Being the holidays and all this is just going to be a short video. In light of the holiday, I thought I'd talk about the year. No not the year 2021 or the year 2022. I'm talking about the year in the Gregorian calendar. Have you ever wondered how the year got the way it is today? Why is January the beginning of the year? Most calendars begin on a solstice. So, our year is a bit of an oddball. Let me explain why!
