GATEWAY OF INDIA AT NIGHT
We avoided visiting the Gateway during the day as it's very crowded with Locals and tourists. However, the barriers were still there at night but hardly any crowd...
The Gateway Of India is an impressive landmark at the doorsteps of the Ocean.
It was built in 1911 to commemorate the visit of King George and Queen Mary.
It has a beautiful 26-meter archway showing a solid intricate latticework carved in stone symbolizing Islamic and Hindu architecture.
The Gateway of India is opposite another landmark as far as Hotels are concerned.....The Taj Mahal Hotel with its splendid architecture as well.
