Our third and final Christmas intake is Eddie

Our third and final Christmas intake is Eddie. Eddie was found sitting in the middle of the HOV lane last Thursday. We believe he was hit by a car and sustained 6 fractures in his pelvis/ hip. His pelvis was 'collapsed in from the damage. After having a CT scan, he went into surgery yesterday to try and repair his frail, tiny body. The right side was a little more tricky with fragmentation but was repaired with bone graft, plate, and screws. Tomorrow makes a week of hospitalization at Blue Pearl Specialists and he'll stay for a couple more days being monitored. Eddie is only about 2 years old and has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but we'll continue to give him the best chance at a full recovery
