Prewritten Prayers – Rituals – Chants – Are they Beneficial?

Many people find comfort in a set prayer, or wearing certain clothing, or chanting regularly. There is nothing wrong about this – but on the other hand there is nothing required about this. Spiritism’s aim is for you to transform your inner self. To replace primitive emotions with advanced feelings of love, charity, fraternity, and honesty. Therefore, everything except your mind is unessential.
