"Nostalgic, Young Memories (Ugly Beautiful Canvas)". Just like how I love documenting the early stages of my work, and reminisce it when it's done. I actually enjoy more of the process over the finished plastic. In this work which I featured here, that is still a work-in-progress at this time, I wanted to show a metaphor of an ugly yet beautiful process. I utilized an old film motif inspired by the movie Amelie. I also used my artistic license of using a very raw editing ( although it may also be my excuse for being an amateurish in video editing / capturing) to signify "young memories" that may represent the meaning of a baby stage that is going through a process of metamorphosis. That is the reason why, I also deliberately made the videos in small frames. Anyway may you get to see the discourse that I want to convey regarding my art making process.
