He Sent an Angel Down to Me

My mom (Nonnie Maffett) wrote this song -"He Sent An Angel Down To Me." Here is her message: As we grow older and have a little more time to ourselves, nearing or at the retirement stage, kids out on their own and time to reflect. I was thinking about the busy lifestyle we had just trying to survive and make ends meet, raising five children. I don't remember ever just sitting down or giving my kids a hug and telling them how much I loved them. This bothered me then and to this day, My young years were the same, I don't remember my folks ever giving me a hug and telling me they loved me and yet I knew they did. As I reflected on these things I wrote the song ,"HE Sent An Angel down to Me", and put into words how I was feeling and regretting that I didn't take the time to say,"I love you," as I should. Hopefully this song will remind others to take the time to hug and let your kids know how much you love them and let them know that ,"God sent an angel down to you".
