Cork FISH is a type of carnivorous freshwater fish (meat-eaters) that are widely found in Southeast Asian waters. This freshwater fish which has a scientific name (Channa striata) is not much known about its history and biological properties. Snakehead fish have an exotic appearance, so they are kept in aquariums as ornamental fish. While adult snakehead fish is known as consumption fish which has high economic value and is much liked by the Indonesian people. Snakehead fish is usually sold fresh or processed. Fish that are considered pests for cultured fish are now starting to be looked at for commercial development.
