John Madden, Legendary Raider Head Coach/NFL Broadcaster, Passes Away at 85

One of the most recognizable and Legendary figures in the NFL passed away of unspecified causes Tuesday Night. John Madden, Former Head Coach of the Oakland Raiders and NFL Color Commentator died at the age of 85.

Known for being one half of the most revered Football broadcasting duo as well as leading the most ferocious team in NFL History, the spectre of Madden looms large over the game as a whole. Being recognizable far away from the field and the booth, timeless Ad Campaigns for Miller Light and Tinactin will continue on long after we all are gone. One other notable contribution Madden made to the cultural zeitgeist is lending his likeness to the widely popular EA Sports franchise that bears his name to this day. Funny story about how much money John left on the table by not understanding what he was getting into.
