Ubuntu stopped work on their Convergence project which would allow you to plug your Android phone into a monitor and use your phone like a full Ubuntu desktop. UBPorts has been working on the phone project for a while with a new release coming soon. If you're interested in this kind of phone tech, take a look and let me know what you think.
