Power Outage In OP, KS

A power outage occurred in Overland Park, Kansas, approximately 7:00 PM Tuesday evening. My cable, internet, and phone were all knocked out. I called the cable company, they had no clue. A neighbor texted me, informing me that an accident happened near 75th Street and Conser, so I hopped in my Miata to go take a look. And sure enough, I came across a car being towed at the block of 76th & Conser. Just a 1 car accident, I was guessing. When leaving there, I noticed more flashing lights down the road. So I drove closer to 75th Street & Conser, and there I witnessed Evergy workers trying to repair electric lines on the poles above the corner there. Driving down several side streets in the area, I noticed many houses lost all their power. Fortunately, they had power, internet, cable and phones all back up and running in about 2 hours.
