Hogan Twins Hear For The First Time!

It was August 2nd, 2005. After being implanted at Stanford's ambulatory center and a couple weeks of recovery, we headed to California Ear Institute in Palo Alto. What an exciting and memorable day it was! My Baby Girl, my parents, step-father, and I were there to witness Olivia and Tallulah hearing sounds for their first time. We made international news as these two became 2 of the 4 youngest in the world, at 13 months, to receive bilateral cochlear implants at the same time. In other words, insurance companies would only pay for one ear at a time. Imagine that! One ear doesn't allow for locating sound. God was more intelligent than that! He gave us 2 ears for good reason!
