I Love AND Admire Coyotes - You Should Too 🐕‍🦺

I spend an average of 3 months, out of every year, deep in wilderness. Living in WA and spending time in ID, MT &.... WA - I'm privileged to see and experience a vast array of wildlife.

Intelligence and adaptability are critical to survival for all wildlife.

In my opinion, coyotes are top tier in both and should be revered, NOT resented and/or hated.

People - good, capable and empathetic people, they understand coyotes and other predators are necessary in preserving a healthy balance with wildlife - it's how nature operates.

IF you're among those who have disdain for coyotes, raccoons, possum, raptors, wolves, cats, bear and other predators JUST BECAUSE - or for, what you consider to be, "valid" reasons, like you've lost livestock - then it's time to re-evaluate how you're managing your livestock, NOT how you can kill/eliminate nature's predators.

There's options out there for the earnest, honorable, and salt of the earth people, who keep and manage livestock, to work around and lessen the impact these majestic and necessary predators - including coyote, have on their herds/flocks - but like managing those livestock, it takes work - but protecting nature's predators IS worth the effort.

Life is short - even shorter for those predators who MUST hunt to survive....EVERY day, in nature's wilderness - even when that wilderness borders "your" property.

Be human, be compassionate.
