So much information exists about the pertussis and the pertussis vaccine dating back to the 1920s, an entire book could be written solely on this infection and its vaccine. In addition to pertussis vaccination for infants and children, adolescents are now advised to receive a pertussis vaccination booster. We will explore the vaccine ingredients and the possible link between two of the many vaccine ingredients – aluminum and gelatin – to allergies.
