Welcome to The Peoples Voices. A show by the people for the people.

Terrence [aka Bruther Luv] shares his story of growing up with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a physical condition and what his daily life is like. Talking about his diagnoses, childhood symptoms, how it affected him and medication.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a physical disability resulting in continuous muscle weakness as time passes on. DMD is one type of muscular dystrophy. Symptoms typically become noticeable in boys, aged four, and may seem slow at first, but quickly progresses as the individual ages. Muscle loss first occurs in the legs and pelvis area, followed by upper body muscles later.
