See the beauty of The Ledges, an incredible part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park! Located about a mile from the Cleveland Towpath and just south of a cool little town called Peninsula Ohio, this 2-mile loop trail features some incredible rock formations that make for a great hike. The trail winds around and through enormous boulders and 100+ foot cliff facings. There are cracks and crevices to explore everywhere! Plus an icebox cave and an overlook from the top of the rocks that provides a 20 mile view.

A parking lot sits in the middle of the trail, and there are four different start/stop points in the loop. That makes the hike doable even for little kids and grandparents. But if a hiker chooses the part of the trail that goes up-down-and-around the many rock outcroppings along the way, it's a fun fitness challenge, too.

This 2-minute video is from ClevelandTowpath.com, a website that focuses on all the great biking, hiking and other outdoor fun that can be had on the many trails in and around Northeast Ohio. Enjoy!
